Welcome to Vidyanagar College Nss Unit.Vidyanagar College Nss is affiliated to the University of Calcutta NSS.It is located on the road joining Amtala and Budge Budge to Bishnupur, Block - 2 in the District of South 24 parganas, some thirty kilometres away from Esplanade,the administrative and commercial hub of the city of Kolkata.

In my personal interaction with several NSS volunteers of reputed National Institutions like IITs, AIIMS, BITs etc, I Come to Know that they got their skills development on the NSS Platform which also helped in their academic. 

         Selecting a project as per the inclination of the student and his subject of expertise not only lessen the workload of the PO but sharpen the skills of the volunteer. For example the student of statistics if involved in the Social Economic Survey and data collection can yield better result and the other students will get enriched by this exercises.

        Simultaneously the reports can be prepared by their skills developed.
